great info!

As a fellow RDN, I appreciate the evidenced based information on trends and questions that are discussed. It’s so hard to read up on everything nutrition related in the news all the time so listening to this podcast was great! Looking forward to more!

Hard to follow through all the banter

I listened to the anti inflammatory diet episode and found it so frustrating. I still have no idea if these dieticians believe eating anti inflammatory food will lower inflammation or not. It almost sounds like they don’t believe food can lower the inflammation in your body. If that’s true I’m totally screwed because I have a lot of inflammation according to my ESR and C Reactive Protein tests and have for years. So I’m worried this long term inflammation will lead to disease. And now these dieticians are basically saying inflammation is really bad but there’s nothing you can do about it just eat these “supposed” anti inflammatory foods because they taste good. I mean the main one said “it probably won’t give you the benefits you’re hoping to “. Great. So I guess I’m totally screwed? They kept jumping around and took forever to get to any point. It was just frustrating listening to them banter about taking forever to get to whatever super vague point they were trying to make and frustrating to hear they don’t think eating anti inflammatory foods will reduce the inflammation in your body. At least that’s what I think they finally got to. Again, they’re not very clear.
