Let's violate a cultural norm.
In a time when certain conversations can seem tense or even taboo, we push back against a culture of silence. Everyother week we sit down with a different guest each week to talk about what they believe, what shaped it, and why it matters.
The Threshold Podcast features a mix of conversations with athiests, agnostices, Catholics, other Christians, and people of completely different faith backgrounds. The focus of our conversations is not to challenge, convert, or shame anyone's perspective. Instead, we want to provide a space where people can share their stories, talk about their experiences, and create bridges of trust. Most importantly, we want to step beyond the threshold of banal conversation and talk about the primary thing that we feel should define any person's actions - what they believe.
Join us each week where we eff ineffability and talk about what really matters.

Arleen Spenceley | More Than A Unicorn

Tony sits down this week to talk about what really matters with speaker, jouralist, author, and noted virgin Arleen Spenceley. A few years ago Arleen wrote an article for the Tampa Bay Times about being a virgin in the world today that cause a bit of a stir, but that is not the begining or totality of Arleen's story. We talk about her family, growing up Catholic in a Protestant school, Crossfit (of course), dating, and the fruit of chastity in Arlene's life.

We have some extra patreon content dropping this week. Some extra from Arlene, and at MariVi's request Tony will talk generally about why boys are dumb. Support our show, and get extra content at https://www.patreon.com/thethresholdpodcast

Also share this episode from our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/TheThresholdPodcast) for a chance to win a free copy of Arleen's book, Chastity is for lovers.

Brian Govatos | Hold the Koolaid, Pass the Whiskey

Tony sits down this week to talk about what really matters with father, businessman, and communication guru Brian Govatos. We cover.... a ton of things. This was actually the longest conversation we have ever had on the Threshold and it was amazing. We usually invite guests to ask a question at the end but for Brian we opened things up and invited him to ask Tony a number of questions. For time sake these questions were cut out and are avaiable to our patrons in a full and unedited format. You can find them over on our Patreon Page as bonus content. https://www.patreon.com/thethresholdpodcast

Tremendous and honest conversations

Tony hosts a great show with some of the most honest conversations about faith, beliefs and the big questions in life. I’ve listened to over half the episodes and just downloaded the rest. Great stuff!

Honest Conversation. Respectful Dialogue

The hosts do a phenomenal job of letting people share their stories. It's respectful and insightful without a sense of superiority or "let me tell you why you're wrong." Great listening to encounter people with beliefs outside your own.

InspiredMoney.fm ,

Real interfaith convos

Tony is a welcoming host who asks excellent questions. This podcast guides listeners through really good conversations about faith, religion and belief. Ahmad Jamil was a very engaging guest.

It’s inspiring to listen to people share diverse ideas in a thoughtful and respectful way. Well done!
