One of my new favorite podcasts!
Today’s episode on hiring assistants!
I will put an extra VOC on this process as perhaps one of the best crux moves I have personally utilized in my practices. For over 5 years we have benefitted greatly from the method and trained and retained 7 amazing people from our local program. These individuals have ascended into leadership roles, gone on to hygiene school, and helped us build a leader/leader training program for the interns coming along after them. The reciprocity is magical. I actually compensate the interns despite not being a requirement. All the tips shared by Gary in this podcast are precisely the key elements to making this work. I will add to it that the doc needs to accept the ultimate responsibility for modeling and driving this system just like all other aspects of the business. If they are unwilling to embrace the learning/training elements it will fail miserably. You will be super stoked by the dividends of this purpose-driven approach if you provide the necessary structure and positive energy.
