Where Are They Now? - S1 E8 ’Tiger King’ Recap & Review
In this later added episode, hosted by Joel McHale, we check in with some of the most interesting characters from the Netflix popular docuseries, Erick Cowie, Jeff and Lauren Lowe, John Reinke, Kelci "Saff" Saffery, Joshua Dial, John Finlay, and Rick Kirkham. Jeff and Lauren are still planning to open their new zoo. John Finlay has cleaned up, is wearing a shirt and has brand new teeth. Erick Cowie is over Joe Exotic and glad that he is in prison. John Reinke and Saff are still loyal to the Tiger King but are still even more loyal to the animals. Joshua Dial is still dealing with the trauma of witnessing Travis Maldonado's death but does explain how the incident seemed to be an accident. Lastly, Rick Kirkham, now living in Norway with his girlfriend, is still extremely bitter over the loss of time and work he put into his experience with Joe.

Everyone vs. Joe - S1 E7 'Tiger King' Recap & Review
In the finale of the most explosive docuseries on Netflix, the Tiger King, Joe Exotic, finds himself speaking to the camera from inside prison. Joe is tried and faces up to 79 years in prison for animal abuse and for his part in the murder-for-hire of enemy Carole Baskin. Jeff Lowe, James Garrettson and Allen Glover turn on Joe and help the feds with the case. In the meantime, Jeff has taken over Joe's zoo and is starting to build a new zoo elsewhere in Oklahoma. He partners with exotic animal owner, Tim Stark, to build the biggest and nicest zoo in the country but their relationship goes south as Tim is fronting all the money and doing all the initial work on the new zoo. Tim splits in his partnership with Jeff and threatens to take him down, but that is not the only threat we see in this episode. Joe is on a mission to take all the other exotic animal owners down as he partners with PETA to give them information about other roadside zoos and the animal abuse happening in them which leads to a December 2019 investigation into Doc Antle's Myrtle Beach Safari. Meanwhile Joe is serving a 22 year prison sentence.

Episode four uncovers the long legal battle between Carole and Joe which leads to even more erratic behavior from Joe. A fire at the GW Zoo leaves people pointing fingers at each other about who committed the arson. A savior, Jeff Lowe, comes to the rescue in Joe's time of need but is it what he expected?

Did Carole Do It? - S1 E3 'Tiger King' Recap & Review
Episode three takes a deep dive into the disappearance of Carole Baskin's ex-husband, Don Lewis. Did Carole feed Don to the Tigers? Or is Don under the septic tank? These are theories Joe Exotic has floated out to the world about Don's where-about. Carole said Don was headed to Costa Rica and authorities found his van parked at an airport with his brief case and keys inside. A source close to Don heard that he was pushed out of a plane over the gulf. There are many theories about where Don could be or what happened to Don, but we all may never know. This episode uncovers what we do know about Don's disappearance and the limited evidence available on the case.

Are Big Cat Owners Caring for Cats or Curating Cults? - S1 E2 'Tiger King' Recap & Review
The Big Cat world is not only dramatic but dangerous, Kelci "Saff' Saffery, can tell you that first hand. She had her arm tore to shreds while working at the GW Zoo and decided to forgo the two years of reconstructive surgery to have her arm amputated to beat the media and keep the wellbeing of the cats. In this episode we learn more about the followings of the big cat owners. Doc Antle, a doctor for mystic sciences, has three wives and pays his staff $100 per week. Joe Exotic on the other hand, allows people who have no place to go a chance to work with his animals for $350 a week, he followed in Doc's footsteps and has two husbands, John Finlay and Travis Maldonado. Carole Baskin of Big Cat Rescue has what seems to be hundreds of volunteer workers who must take classes and put in hours to work their way up the chain.

Should be committees
Maybe there should be some sort of official committee that sends representatives to these “big cat zoos” to make sure that they are abiding by a predetermined set of moral rules for both animals and employees. As well as they should be held to a standard as close to an official zoo as possible. I tend to detest people who own a bunch of dangerous big cats and then seem to think they are above the law or think they are the coolest thing ever. These are the type of people who think that ligers, and tigons and other hybrids like that are natural for some reason. Have you ever seen a picture of these things? Physically it’s hard to look at. It’s like the reason why bulldogs snore. We bred them to the point where there noses are smushed causing a breathing problem leading to the snoring.
Tiger killing is bad!
The people who are doing the podcast... great job! Y’all are killing it and y’all are doing so well under quarantine and everything. But the glorification of animal abuse and their abusers is just a hard topic to make entertaining and still remain sounding like normal people who don’t want animals mistreated or abused. Still keep trying hard guys. Also OBVIOUSLY ANIMAL ABUSE AND THE MISTREATMENT OF ANIMALS IS BAD AND SHOULD NOT BE CONDONED. Thank you.
