In an effort to make the episode short, we went LONG and it might have been the best decision we've ever made. Thanks to our friend Sophie James for literally blowing our minds and being here to talk us through the past week/century of absolute racist b******t, both in Bachelor Nation and otherwise. I know part of our schtick is ‘please listen to our podcast,’ but this is actually one worth listening to (please excuse any very brief zoom lags). In it we talk about sociopolitical dynamics, Demi, white fragility, acceptance, accountability, and apologies, Tipper Gore, the Antebellum south, white people trying to protect themselves, APPLAUDING, SUPPORTING, and DEFENDING the Black folks and especially Black women in Bachelor Nation, and the f*****g Chris Harrison of it all.
