43 | David Goggins 4x4x48 Challenge! My Journey to 48 Miles in 48 Hours as a Mom of 2 Little Boys: Training, Setbacks, and DOING THE DANG THING‪!‬ Tough Love for Moms | Encouraging and Equipping Moms to Do Hard Things

Recently I took on the David Goggins 4x4x48 Challenge. That means this average, non-ultrarunning mama ran 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours! (That comes out to 48 miles in 48 hours, still can't wrap my mind around that!)
 
Part of the reason I take on hard things like this is because it allows me to realize that my limits go way further than my mind tells me. The other part of the reason is you. I don't want you underestimating what you're capable of forever, so if seeing or hearing my journey through this spurs YOU on to test your limits and challenge what YOU think you're capable of, mission accomplished.
 
This episode is unlike anything I've done before because before and after each 4 mile leg throughout the challenge I recorded a little voice memo so you could get an inside look at how I was feeling, what I was thinking, and how I faced and overcame some crazy roadblocks during those 48 hours. There were a LOT of takeaways I share after the fact, so stay tuned for those because golly if they don't apply to the postpartum fitness journey, I don't know what will! ENJOY — the good, the bad, the ugly... AND the crazy!
