What a show like this needs
This kind of show is one that I definitely want to have some kind of discussion on after I watch it. Even if I don't agree with all of their takes on it, I love being able to come hear and at least just digest this show.
Podcast is great!
Hosts get into the episodes and explain their opinions in detail. Wonderful hosts..
When is each podcast released?
Unbelievably bad podcast
I started to listen to the first episode, but the podcasters seem to be lacking in the life experience and understanding necessary to discuss this topic. For example, they discuss the rape that “might” have happened, but the show made it crystal clear that the rape definitely did happen. They also talked about how it was understandable how Marie’s initial accounts of the rape were so dramatically conflicting. Again, the filmmakers were very clear that the discrepancies were minor but Marie’s overall account was consistent. The podcaster also spoke in a bizarrely flip way about the rape exam (which she strangely called a “rape kit”) and how the investigators were digging around and doing whatever they wanted to Marie’s body. Just really tone deaf, not out of meanness but out of ignorance.
