A new fan - credible investigative reporting

I just start listening at season 3 about the war on drugs... it’s really so much more. I’ve been binging for several days. I’m blown away with the research, interviews and insights. The threads connecting the episodes are easy to follow and feel like a natural progression in telling the story.
I’m a recovering alcoholic/addict. Some of the interviews touch a little to close to home at parts but are a true representation based on my experiences.

Meh

The first season was great. Kept my attention and I loved listening.

Second season was a complete snooze fest. The peanut butter trilogy should have been one episode max. I don’t understand why you spent so much time on the peanut butter segment, it was extremely boring. The rest of season 2 was slightly better.

Season 3 was good, but not as attention grabbing as season 1.

I guess I’ll tune in to season 4 and hope I don’t unsubscribe.

Great in-depth reporting and stories

I love the depth of reporting and the efforts taken to present all sides of the story in this podcast. I have enjoyed all three seasons of this podcast and look forward to what comes next.

I would have liked to see 1 more episode in Season 3 that focused on the impacts of the greater community of the current drug epidemic. My small town has seen a 300% increase in property crime the last few years. It would be nice to know if there are ways to mitigate these issues while still supporting people in recovery.
