Jake Barker-Daish is a former professional soccer player who has found fascination in understanding key drivers that allow athletes, artists and people in business to gain and maintain success. Despite most actions being physical the mind plays a powerful role in all our day to day activities which is a focus point within the podcast to help listeners find angles to better themselves and have a winning mentality. After 40 games in the A-League along with captaining the Young Socceroos and Olyroos, Jake's career was cut short through injury and this podcast helps to humanise athletes, artists and business folk with a light hearted and fun approach. The Unlaced Podcast aims to create a smile on your faces whilst delivering on insightful information to help understand the guest better but also allow listeners to better themselves. Go tell a friend you love them!

Marmalade AUS - Div 12 #110
The boys from Marmalade Australia define anything is possible. When you equate a couple of blokes who play division 12 footy who then blow up on TikTok and bring chocolate milk back into fashion with a high level sense of humour I knew this was going to make for a great episode. Joel Eyles, Riley Srey and Will Taylor join me on the show to talk about their recent rise to stardom which encompasses their quirky nature which I truly loved. These boys have AFL running through their veins and their brand has been marketed to the mass audience of footy fanatics that don't play AFL in the most humorous way possible.

Dane Swan & Campbell Brown - AFL Finals Preview #109
Who better to get to preview the 2023 AFL Finals series than two guys who loved and know September very well in the AFL. Campbell Brown and Dane Swan join the show this week as we break down the top 8 and the upcoming games with a finals race that has now opened up. A show that was insightful for all footy fans as Swanny and Browny share their experiences in the finals that provide really strong views across all upcoming games. The boys share their disappointments from the season too along with a few personal stories of the passed that had me sitting and listening like a fan.

Kev, Duch & Dane - Mandem Show 2 #108
The mandem shows are back and I am so pumped about it. These are some of my favourite shows when I get to bring some of my best mates on the podcast and share how hilarious they all are. Kevin Coombes, Andrew Duch & Dane Milovanovic are truly all special humans in their own right and through this episode we discuss the round of golf we played just prior to the show along with talking about life of late with the cut throat banter that we all absolutely love. I continue to say how much we are loving all the support and I hope you enjoy seeing my mates on the show as much as I do.

Ljubo Milicevic - Finding Feet #107
This is Ljubo Milicevic's first interview in seven years and we were honoured to be the platform to bring forward his story after such time. Ljubo is well known for his professional football career and achieveing heights in the game not many Australian's can say. Playing for the Socceroos throughout 2005-2007 in the golden generation, captaining his European club in the Champions League and becoming what some would say as a polarising character in the game. Ljubo is truly an amazing human being and speaks candidly about suffering from depression post football, his transition to the other side of life and embracing what the future brings for him.

Speak & Share - Breaking The Stigma #106
Three incredible young men that are impacting the mental health industry on a level that cannot be calculated. Ben Farish, Nathan Scagliarini and Mason De Wit created a Mental Health Not for Profit organisation called Speak and Share which is aimed at breaking the stigma around mental health and normalising the conversation with friends. A truly bunch of special young men that are focusing on a higher movement to themselves and are bringing their services to schools, sports and workplaces. An inspiring trio who share their own experiences with mental health, what led them to start this journey and bringing to light that a problem shared is a problem halved.

Ice & Simi - Mental Money #105
Isaac John (Ice) and Jordan Simi are one of the funniest combinations we have ever had on the show. Ice is known for co-founding You Know The Rules (YKTR) which has incredible quality clothing, sports content and cultural content that he has been pushing out and has built one of the biggest followings in Australia/New Zealand. Jordan Simi who has worked for Ice at YKTR has an incredibly high comedy IQ and the real gift of the gab with grabbing a rooms attention and making you laugh. Both of these guys are empowering people to be around and I really love the ambition they both share across content creation and life.
