The Unseen World begins with Miri, a former physics student with a deep awareness of the world around her, trying to come to terms with life. Her ensuing journey through a maze of parallel universes, and the relationships she forms along the way, transform her understanding of the nature of matter, and of what actually matters. Often hilarious, frequently poignant, occasionally bawdy, and always surprising, The Unseen World is a raucous ride that is part Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, part Rocky Horror Picture Show, part Tommy yet completely original. Must-listen, super-entertaining dive into the meaning of life and the universe!
The Unseen World is a wonderfully entertaining and zany science fiction musical that kept me hooked from start to finish. The quirky and clever storytelling made every episode an eagerly-awaited interlude of enjoyment to my quotidian routine. The characters are eccentric and engaging as they navigate a journey into existentialism and relativity. The soundscape and music is superb and all lyrics are available on the website, which I found added to my experience. I hope to see The Unseen World become a timeless classic and look forward to the sequel!
Original and highly entertaining
I listen to a lot of podcasts and audio drama and this is one of the most original, well-produced, and laugh-out-loud-entertaining productions I’ve encountered. The voice actors are absolutely fantastic— talented and professional. The plot is a little American Astronaut, a little Douglas Adams, a little RHPS. It is seriously engaging, plot-driven and thoughtful sci-fi. And, oh, did I mention it’s a musical?
