Tim has a rare gift of being honest and willing to say and share the difficult details that most people leave out, but in doing so is encouraging and gives hope. He doesn’t gloss over the difficult things, he seeks them out and breaks them down. His voice, combining truth and hope, is needed in the real estate investing space!

Business, as a construct, oftentimes seems insular and intimidating to those in antithetical lines of work. The mind(s) behind REI Uncovered manage to offer up real estate keynotes that masquerade as housing industry interviews.

In other words, there’s so much more than mere Q&As taking place here. These podcast episodes are palpable to white-collar lifers and laymen alike, especially because of host Tim Oppelt’s vulnerable yet pragmatic style of interviewing.

These days, the industry is meretricious at best, sullied by the ever-trendy trope of real estate rock stars. The glamour was good for exposure, maybe twenty years ago, but now, most of those who actually live the life are tirelessly working a thankless job.
