Neal Pirolo of Emmaus Road International joined us for a conversation about an often overlooked topic, serving as senders. The majority of Christians will serve in full-time missions roles overseas, yet we don’t often talk about those who stay even though they are integral to the health of the missionary. Neal has decades of experience serving as a missionary and a minister to missionaries. He is someone we at the Upstream Collective look up to and often reference his work.

Helpful for all Christians

This podcast is full of great insight from fantastic people who have experience in living on mission. Helping Christians to think in an upstream way will continue to aid them in taking the gospel wherever they are in the world (jobs, families, passions, etc). Truly grateful for these leaders.

All Are Sent

I love these guys and their heart for missions. The one thing I love the most about this Upstream podcast is that they place an importance on everyone being a sent one. As a layperson in my local church I find this inspiring! The process of development of a sent one includes the not just the mission going forward but the people they leave behind. I feel very encouraged learning more about being a better advocate and how to be a good support as well as learning to live life on mission right where I’m planted. This podcast is an awesome resource for all!
