This week I am joined by Sarah Bigham, a woman who lives with a host of medical conditions including Interstitial cystitis and vulvodynia. She shares the ups and downs of her medical journey, the many things she learned along the way and how she channeled her medical experiences into creative work. Her first book, Kind Chemist Wife: Musings at 3 a.m, was released this spring from a small independent press, and is a memoir essay collection that deals, in part, with her experience as a chronic pain patient.
