Dr. T. Colin Campbell: Rethinking the Science of Nutrition, The China Study, Medical Censorship, & More
T. Colin Campbell, Ph.D., has been dedicated to the science of human health for more than 60 years. His primary focus is on the association between diet and disease, particularly cancer. Although largely known for the China Study - one of the most comprehensive studies of health and nutrition ever conducted, and recognized by The New York Times as the “Grand Prix of epidemiology,” - Dr. Campbell’s profound impact also includes extensive involvement in education, public policy, and laboratory research.
Dr. Campbell’s research experience includes both laboratory experiments and large-scale human studies. He has received over 70 grant years of peer-reviewed research funding (mostly with NIH), served on grant review panels of multiple funding agencies, actively participated in the development of national and international nutrition policy, and authored over 350 research papers, most published in peer-reviewed science journals.

Dr. Neal Barnard: Balancing Your Hormones, Menopause, Omega-3s, Spreading Veganism, & More
Neal Barnard, MD, FACC, is an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, and President of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.
As president of the Physicians Committee, Dr. Barnard leads programs advocating for preventive medicine, good nutrition, and higher ethical standards in research. His research contributed to the acceptance of plant-based diets in the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. In 2015, he was named a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. In 2016, he founded the Barnard Medical Center in Washington, DC, as a model for making nutrition a routine part of all medical care.

Intelligent discussions, shattering negative vegan stereotypes
I’ve been whole food vegan for about 13 years and have become really interested in building muscle and becoming as fit as possible to be a positive example of veganism as I move towards 50. I believe that if we can lead by example, from a positive place, we will be able to grow the movement much faster. I stumbled across the vegan gym podcast while searching for various interviews. Great guidance
I went vegan a few years back and after losing weight, one of the first things people who saw my before/afters said was “Have you thought about putting on some muscle?” So this podcast is my guidance. I’m enjoying it a lot. These seem like nice guys and they seem to know what’s up
