    The Wanderer (Trailer 2)

    The Wanderer (Trailer 2)

I think you should know something before we continue. I am not the hero of this story. In fact this story doesn’t have a hero. I'm not going to save anyone here, least of all myself. But I’ve made a deal with the forest. I've agreed to wander; to wander as long as I can, to wander as long as the forest wishes. I don't completely understand what she wants with me, but I wander because it's the only way I have to keep the person I love most safe. I wander because it’s the only way I’ll get him back. It's the least I can do. It’s the only thing I can do.

Great podcast made by great people

I could tell after the first sentence about this podcast being produced on stolen land that this was a podcast I would have to listen to all the way through. Kudos also for the request for donations to the Palestinian people. We have so much entertainment to choose from nowadays that its exciting to be able to fill my time with great art that is also made by great people.

Not for me...great ideas but falls flat.

Typically I give every podcast a 3 episode listen before subscribing. Against my norm and maybe better judgement, I immediately subscribed to this. I love the premise of this story. I want this to be good. However, my word, this is a snooze fest. It has quite literally put me to sleep. Im going to listen to the 3rd episode when it releases in hopes the narrative gets better and the narrator becomes less monotoned and a little more exciting.
Update: love the premise, but this sorely falls flat. I was really hoping that would change. I’ll keep an eye out for more content. Good luck 🍀

A medititative journey through self doubt

The Wanderer beautifully mines the tension of dualities: reflection vying with anxiety, healing music vs sour notes of failure, the trap of boundless movement that forbids fixed destinations. It is a story told with a sense of lyricism that flows easily between the twin sensations of peace and panic born of being lost in the woods.
