Understanding manifestation - sharing the lessons from my journey

Understanding manifestation - sharing the lessons from my journey

On this weeks solo episode of The Wellbeing Wanderer Podcast Kat shares her journey and experience of manifestation which was a huge component to her finding her purpose, becoming a Holistic Wellbeing Coach and having the courage to pursue her dreams. This episode explains what manifestation is, how to do it, the science behind it, where to begin if you're new to manifestation and Kat shares her some of her manifestation success stories. If you're keen on getting started with your manifestation journey and wish to learn the basics then this episode is for you.

Key points covered in this episode:

    • Kat explains what manifestation is really about, how it's so much more than just getting your desires and that it's more about self love.

    • Kat share's what led her to manifestation, where she learnt how to do it and the reason why many people choose to begin a manifestation journey. The case often being out of desperation, a lack of options and the need for a miracle.

    • What manifestation is, how it's based on the law of attraction and that it has been scientifically backed by quantum physics. That our external reality is a reflection of our internal state and how we are constantly manifesting consciously and subconsciously.

    • How the law of attraction works and how to apply this to manifesting what you desire. That everything is energy and vibrates on a different frequency, how we manifest things into our reality is by getting on the same frequency as the person who already has the thing they desire.

    • Why feeling only into the things you desire does not help you successfully manifest, you need to take the aligned action too alongside doing the inner work and re-writing your limiting beliefs.

    • How your reality is created from your beliefs that were formed as a child and before you reached adulthood so when you unpack them and understand that they are only beliefs you can change them and therefore change your life.

    • Starting your manifestation journey - start small before you go for the big things, then scale it up as your belief grows for example getting a free cup of coffee!

    • When manifesting it's important to engage all your senses in the experience so that it feels like it's already happened and you are sending out that energy.

    • Kat share's the story of when she manifested £1000 and how it came from somewhere she never expected!

    • The fact that when you've asked for a big manifestation it can feel like everything is going wrong or it's not coming however sometimes everything has to burn away to clear old the old and make way for the new. Your job is to keep your faith strong and stay solid in your belief as this is what will magnetise it to you and any hint of doubt, desperation or clinging will push it further away.

From dreams and goals to reality, success and stardom with guest Brashaad Mayweather

From dreams and goals to reality, success and stardom with guest Brashaad Mayweather

In today's episode of The Wellbeing Wanderer Podcast Kat sits down with the multi faceted Brashaad Mayweather an actor, model, stuntman, producer, talent agency owner and philanthropist who’s started his own not for profit 'Kicks for kids.' We dive into what it takes to go after your passions and how even if you don't know what you're doing when you're on the right path everything flows. If you're an entrepreneur or someone with dreams big or small then this episode is for you.

Key points covered in this episode:

    • Brashaad shares his story of how he got to where he is now, starting out on a full football scholarship, then went on to write a book until he found the will for his life which is to help others. From here he produced and starred in his own TV show 'The Mayweather Live Show' started acting in TV commercials and booked an impressive 67 acting jobs in LA.

    • Having faith and trust in god/the universe gave Brashaad the confidence, support and direction he needed for the next steps is his professional journey and that in helping others he was blessed with success.

    • That when you're doing something that helps others, giving back to the world and fulfilling your purpose you are not doing it for money and any that you make and/or lose is not important. If you're doing something for money and lack sincerity behind your project it's unlikely to succeed.

    •  The key ingredients to achieving your goals include having a clear vision plan and strategy that's written down and having a weekly and daily agenda is important but don't beat yourself for not sticking to it.

    • The importance of celebrating yourself and your wins every step of the way, every day and in every moment, bring them into the present and embrace the moment. Also celebrate getting through the tough times.

    • When it comes to going after the thing you want, especially as an entrepreneur you need to be consistent, show up every day even if it's not at your max capacity, just keep going and don't quit because you never know when you're going to hit gold.

    • Brashaad expresses the main obstacles to his journey, one of the main one being racism and the second is the uncertainty of not knowing where his next pay-check is coming from so saving money is crucial. This is an important lesson for entrepreneurs.

    • How crying is cleansing, it helps you express your emotions, it clears out the pain you're feeling and it allows you to move on from the situation you are currently facing.

    'Boy's don't cry' - the societal norm that's damaging men's health

    'Boy's don't cry' - the societal norm that's damaging men's health

In this solo episode of The Wellbeing Wanderer Podcast Kat discusses the emotional damage caused from the societal conditioning that tells men not to express their emotions. If you're a man who's struggling to express yourself, feeling emotionally unstable, unable to hold onto relationships or experiencing a lot of anger and aggressive behaviour then this episode is for you.

Key points covered in this episode:

    • Why your tears are needed, what the mean and how they serve you.

    • What happens internally when you suppress your emotions and how they build up inside you like a pressure cooker then explode out of you in unhealthy, uncontrollable ways like violence when not addressed.

    •  Kat explains what 'Yin' and 'Yang' means, the Yin being the feminine and the Yang being masculine, why we need to embrace both parts as one cannot exist without the other.

    • How to prevent unwanted displays of suppressed emotions so you can find your centre and be more in control of your emotions.

    • When you start to open up and express your emotions to a person make sure they are someone you trust that makes you feel safe and who won't judge you so that you train your mind that it's ok.

    • To make a start with expressing your feelings, begin small, share something small that you wouldn't normally share and would keep to yourself and then observe how you feel after.

    • Remembering that becoming more connected to your emotions and less resistant to your feeling your feelings is a process and takes time, it's like a muscle, it takes time to grow and will be painful for the short term but the long term gains will be worth it.

    • How doing this work and getting more in touch with your feminine side, feeling more and expressing more will make you more attractive to women and help you build supportive, happier relationships.

How to stop being a people pleaser and learning to say no with guest Suzanne Culberg

How to stop being a people pleaser and learning to say no with guest Suzanne Culberg

In todays episode of the Wellbeing Wanderer podcast Kat talks to Suzanne Culberg, an international mindset author of ‘The beginning is Sh*t - An unapologetic weight loss memoir‘ also know as the ’nope coach.’ If you identify as a people pleaser then this episode is for you.

Key points covered in this episode:

Suzanne shares how she came to be a coach which was through her struggles with weightloss and how the mindset was the component she was missing
The importance of helping yourself first before you trying to help others and going through the motions of your own learning so you you’re in a better position to give back.
How weightloss is so much more than a diet, it’s a lifestyle choice, you can still enjoy all food. Changing your mindset and understanding the emotional reasons why you are eating what you are eating is the number one way to success
The reasons why we fill the void to numb out so we need not face ourselves and our responsibilities.
How it’s important to take time with your goals, listen to and pay attention to yourself, your needs, don’t rush and see it as a natural process rather than a race to the finish line.
We are cyclical beings and go through different seasons therefore we can’t always be in spring energy, you may be in your winter, in a time to rest and restore. Connect with your season and honour yourself.
How when we don’t say no to people when we don’t really want to we start a war within ourselves exhibiting people pleasing behaviour and end up void filling.
The fact that if friends or family are quick to judge you and nay say on your dreams this is just a projection of their own insecurities and fears onto you so stay true to your desires and don’t change yourself for others.
Suzanne reveals the best way to get started on self care, how to honour your yourself and your no.

    • How when you are strong in your self belief you are able to better express your values and opinion because you aren't second guessing yourself.

    • If it's difficult for you to respond when your'e being challenged on your values then it's a good idea to give yourself some space after to reflect on the conversation, sink back into yourself and re-affirm how you feel.
