A Grateful Mama

As an American mama of two toddler girls moving abroad to London in the next few months, I am so grateful to be learning about health + wellness from the UK perspective. It’s so interesting to learn from you 2 each week alongside all the noise we are bombarded with here in the US. It can be so taxing to try to do the absolute best for your family when you are juggling the relentlessness of motherhood. You two ladies are providing the proper science-backed information that women with packed schedules can digest. I’m so appreciative of what you’re contributing and it has me so excited for this big move and transition in my family’s life. I feel this podcast reinforces what I know to be good choices, almost like you’re giving a pat on the back or telling us “you’re doing great, mama”that calms the feeling of overwhelm. I’m so looking forward to my family’s wellness in the UK now as we transition from America because of you two. Thank you both for shedding a light and providing some glimmers!🧡 -Lindsey
A comment on aging

I just wanted to leave a comment about aging. I am 60 and loving it! My 30’s were a learning curve, 40 was better than 20. My 50s were much harder than I thought they would be - menopause just changes everything I knew about my body, weight gain, sleep deprivation, excessive hot flashes. I turned 60 last Sept and I am feeling more like myself. I’m loosing weight through food and exercise. Hot flashes have become back ground noise and my happy energetic self is reemerging. Aging doesn’t have to be a breakdown, it is more of an attitude adjustment and redirect to continue to do the things you love. When my mom was 78, we hiked Cotswolds and Cornwall for two week. She showed me that staying active was balance for an older body. I’m looking forward to my 70s and taking the challenges in stride. Dig in, don’t be afraid! Cheers!

I love listening to your podcast! You’re both very relatable in your approach to wellness and not being able to do everything perfect all of the time! I would love to hear your thoughts on EMFs and microwaves!!

This podcast is amazing! I listened to my first episode about two weeks ago and binged all the episodes to get caught up. Not only are Ella and Rhi cutting through the noise by making health and wellness information accessible and digestible, but they are also doing so in a nuanced way that takes into account ALL facets of health (privilege, socioeconomic status, etc), AND I JUST LOVE IT. I am from the US, and I hope government officials from any country listen to this podcast, because Rhi and Ella are always quick to remind us that the government has a responsibility to make health easier for people in a myriad of ways. ALSO, to have two women just HYPE each other up all the time… my eyes get watery and my heart flutters. Thank you for being such a bright spot in my week when - as an American - things feel really dark at the moment. Keep up the great work!
