Inspiring, Informative, Professional, and Down to Earth
I'm so grateful for and inspired by the Whimsical Word Speech Teletherapy Podcast! As an SLP whose been in the field for 10 years, Andee has re-inspired and given me hope in finding an area of our field that feels so aligned with my values, personality, and future goals. Though I'm still primarly a brick and morter SLP, Andee and her guests have helped inspire me to use technology for my in person therapy and have given me courage to start working a a part-time teletherapist! Honestly, if it weren't for her and her podcast, I may have not taken the leap so soon!
Andee is a true trail blazer in the world of Speech Telepractice and what I love most about her is her authenticity, her fun-loving nature, practical tips you can start using today, and her ability to be real about the positive and negatives of speech teletherapy. Her guests are carefully chosen and true leaders in the field. I especially loved her episode with Jessi Andricks around ways to bring calmness back to ourselves and the field.
The value she provides in each episode and priceless. I feel like I'm sitting and having a cup of my favorite coffee with Andee in my living room. I'm thankful for such an informative, inspiring, personal, and down to Earth podcast about an area of our field that is only growing and will continue to rapidly grow in the years to come.
This podcast is perfect for any type of SLP- new teletherapist, aspirting teletherapist, or tradional SLP who just wants to gain knowledge and skills in using technology to support their students. I look forward to many more episodes. Thank you, Andee, for sharing your light, wisdom, knowlege, and your beautiful heart!
