Scott Van Leuven, Buckaroo, Horseman and loyal friend.
Scott grew up on a farm in Idaho and quickly decided that wasn't the life for him. He left home at an early age and worked in Idaho and Montana in his teens before heading to Nevada. The buckaroo lifestyle took ahold, but so did the drinking. Solitude also found its way to him and Scott found that being alone was the answer to his anxiety that came from being around people. After a bad horse wreck, that left him in a coma, Scott went on the journey of self discovery. He realized how his many injuries had taken their toll. He openly shares his journey with drinking and his relationship with God and religion.
Scott is as honest and hard working as they come. He is the cowboss at the historic C Punch ranch, which is the largest ranch, in Nevada, inside one fence, 1,000,000 acres with no cross fences.
Scott and his wife, Andrea are the founders of the Buckaroo Traditions Gathering Big loop roping. Their event will be this Nov. 17-19 in Winnemucca, NV. For more info check www.btgathering.com

Food for every man
I started listening Fall of 2022. I had just started listening to podcasts at that time. After engaging in these lives that are scared, this is the rule I judge all podcasts by. I now listen to 4 or 4 other podcasts that I found from this one. I’m in construction, don’t hunt, don’t ride horses but I can relate to every person who speaks on this show.
I only wish episodes were released more often!
I’m really looking forward to going to a retreat in the future. Keep the fire going Wild Courage! Thanks Jeremy!
Every man needs this!
I love the raw vulnerability and blatant masculinity displayed in this podcast! This will bring healing to men, and help woman understand how to love and support their hearts!
Great conversations with great and real men
Just stumbled across episode #7 with Ross Knox; who while I only met in 2021, I count as a dear brother and friend for life. Jason, great conversation with Ross. Ross is a true cowboy / horseman in every since of the word. I look forward to continuing to listen to your work, but if the others are anything close to this; I’ll be listening to them all. As Ross would say; Adios my friend!
