    Ep. 40 | I'm Sorry, Not Sorry

    Ep. 40 | I'm Sorry, Not Sorry

It's easy to just say your sorry when you offended someone or did someone wrong. It's much more difficult to ask for forgiveness though. Why is that? It's because asking for forgiveness requires a higher level of humility. It forces you to get real honest about your offense against someone else. You have to own that offense and call it out specifically. It's the same way with God. In fact, Scriptures tell us that "worldly sorrow" leads to death while "Godly sorrow" results in salvation (ref. 2 Cor. 7:10).

On today's show we discuss what it feels like to ask for forgiveness versus simply saying I'm sorry with people and with God. We also discuss how we can know that we are truly repenting of sin.

Ultimately, we know that through authentic repentance and faith in Christ alone that God provides everyone an unlimited supply of grace and mercy. We can enjoy the freedom from sin that only comes through Christ alone, allowing us to travel light on this side of eternity rather than carrying the burden of sins on our shoulders.

Ep. 39 | Modern Day Sodom & Gomorrah

Ep. 39 | Modern Day Sodom & Gomorrah

You name the immorality and it's upon us! In fact, you can't make some of this stuff up. America is in a rapid moral decline and we are unfortunately along for the ride. As Christians it's a good thing to know that this is not our home and that God is still in control. But, we still need to have a certain level of concern for what is going on and fight for freedom and absolute truth where we can. They are coming for our kids and the plan is unfolding right before our very eyes.

In this episode we unload several recent newsworthy events that have been strategically designed to breakdown the family unit that God intended in an effort to dismantle the protective barrier that that unit provides for children. Once the family unit becomes dysfunctional the children are prey to worldviews and ideas that are not in line with God's will. Satan is doing all he can to confuse and a distract...we must stay focused on Christ and stand up for our families in this epic battle that we are in.

Ep. 38 | We're Back...The Fight for Freedom is On

Ep. 38 | We're Back...The Fight for Freedom is On

It's been 586 days since our last show for reasons we vaguely cover in this episode. Let's just put it this way...God fights our battles and as Christians we should live out the eternal victory that is only found in Christ no matter what the fight is.

The biggest fight right now is the fight for freedom and the only true freedom we can obtain is the freedom Christ provides us. But, that doesn't mean we need to sit on the sidelines and simply watch our freedoms being stripped away each and every day. We need to stand strong for the freedom that men and women before us died for...the freedom to make your own decisions about vaccines, masks and more importantly Jesus Christ. The coronavirus has nothing on the virus of sin. We all have that sin virus! The good news is Christ isn't a vaccine...Christ alone is the solution to man's most dangerous virus...our sin nature.

Thanks in advance for being easy on us as this is our first show back in quite some time. We'll get in a groove again. Love y'all!

Ep. 36 | Special Guest- Russ Salerno, Sr. - Is Government Overreaching & Fall Sports Predictions

Ep. 36 | Special Guest- Russ Salerno, Sr. - Is Government Overreaching & Fall Sports Predictions

On today's show Russ and Yvette are joined by a very special guest...Russ' dad, Russ Salerno, Sr.  That's right Russ is a Jr. and during this show he referenced as "Bubba", his childhood nickname.  We discuss how and where specifically the government may be overreaching a little as we begin this slow degradation of our freedoms and liberties. Masks are the new thing and some are looking very hip...are designer masks the new thing?

With all this craziness going on it's a great time to be a Christian. Sharing the gospel now is needed more than ever as people are looking for hope!

We also make some predictions about whether Fall sports will be played or not and discuss the innovative way NASCAR is staying in the game while the crisis has us locked in our homes leveraging the iRacing platform.

We dedicate this show to my Uncle Bobby who's birthday was yesterday! Special thanks to Memaw, Papaw, Grandpa and Grandma and all our listeners out there.  We love you and are grateful for your support!
