In this episode of the Women with Fire Podcast, Sarah and Michelle talk about Dorcus, and her amazing example as she follows her own quest. They talk about having compassion, and focusing on changing individual lives, and finding our own talents that Heavenly Father has given us to fulfill our own quests.
“Already the new men are dotted here and there all over the earth. Some, as I have admitted, are still hardly recognizable: but others can be recognized. Every now and then one meets them. Their very voices and faces are different from ours: stronger, quieter, happier, more radiant. They begin where most of us leave off. They are, I say, recognizable; but you must know what to look for. They will not be very like the idea of ‘religious people’ which you have formed from your general reading. They do not draw attention to themselves. You tend to think that you are being kind to them when they are really being kind to you. They love you more than other men do, but they need you less. ... They will usually seem to have a lot of time: you will wonder where it comes from. When you have recognized one of them, you will recognize the next one much more easily. And I strongly suspect (but how should I know?) that they recognize one another immediately and infallibly, across every barrier of color, sex, class, age, and even of creeds. In that way, to become holy is rather like joining a secret society. To put it at the very lowest, it must be great fun”" - C.S. Lewis
"Our circle of influence wherever we are, is enough." -Sarah Allred

Yep.... needed that.
Honestly so motivating. This podcasts kicks my butt into gear when I am feeling lazy. Thank you!
You’ve helped me find my quest!
When I first began listening to the podcast, it was because I thought it would be fun to hear the voice of an old friend. Little did I know, it would catapult me back onto a path I’d fallen off of. For many years, I’d lived in confusion about what I wanted to do with this internal drive for creativity. I had aspirations to be a writer, but couldn’t find the inspiration, the time, or the motivation to pursue it. I felt so empty. Listening to the Women with Fire felt like a call to action and even an answer to prayers. I felt energized and ready to ask God for guidance in seeking my “quest.” I still have a ways to go, but I’ve found an amazing tribe of supporters and an incredible new drive. I’m full of confidence that I’m on the right track and that God is guiding me towards the place both He and I desire to be.
Interview with Michelle Lehnardt
What an inspiration. I loved listening to Michelle’s insights and philosophies on parenting. I’m inspired to be a better parent. You both did a great job interviewing her to bring out her enthusiasm and fire. I learned so much which is saying a lot because I’m a huge fan of hers. I’m probably her biggest fan seeing that I’m married to her. I’m so proud of her and what she is doing. Thanks for the great interview.
