After graduating with Yale’s class of 1976, Pam went on to receive her law degree from The University of Virginia, which lead to a career in corporate law and later, non-profit law.     In this episode, Co-President Jen Huang '22 speaks with Eve Ellis, Yale College ’80. Eve is a private wealth advisor and founder of the Matterhorn Group at William Blair, which focuses on investing with both financial and social returns through a Gender Parity Strategy and the Matterhorn/Refinitiv Diversity & Inclusion Strategy. She is also a member of the Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment (US SIF), served on the board of the Ms. Foundation for Women, and received The Women’s Bond Club of New York’s Betty Cook Award in 2018 for her dedication to women's advancement. 

    In this episode, Eve speaks about her background and what brought her to finance, how she entered a male-dominated field, and the importance of socially responsible investment.

    A Room in the Foyer

    In this episode, Co-President Jen Huang '22 speaks with Remembering 50 contributor Catherine Kortlandt '85. After graduating from Yale College, Catherine studied law at Columbia University and went on to practice law, and has served on the Board of Directors for Special Olympics in Connecticut. Catherine reads her piece, "A Room in the Foyer" and speaks about her experiences growing up in a family that emphasized women's leadership, being a woman at Yale in the 1980s, and looking back on the journey of coeducation.

    In today’s episode, Co-President Jen Huang ’22 speaks with Remembering 50 contributor Amy D. Rubin ’76. Amy graduated from the Yale School of Music, going on to a successful career as a pianist, composer, and speaker. In this episode, Amy reads her piece, “Let It Rain,” and speaks about her experiences at Yale, the conversations surrounding gender and sexuality, and what it was like being the only woman in an all-male program.
