LaMonica Williams is mother to two children and the Director of Program, Pre K - 2 Division at Teaching Matters, a national professional learning organization dedicated to helping teachers and school leaders develop the skills they need to close the gaps created by a radically unequal education system.

La Monica’s expertise is in elementary literacy and she also manages the work of Teaching Matters to support educators and train them to use data to advance students’ reading and writing abilities.  

She joins us to discuss how Teaching Matters is creating a more equitable education landscape.
