Awesome 1E AP Podcast
Great actual play podcast featuring the best D&D system!! Has just the right mix of role playing and fighting. I’m more of a hack and slash fan and most of the AP podcasts are now too book like and focus on the story and characters too much with not much action. This AP podcast is a good mix of both. Missing RFI and this really helps fill the void and makes my daily commute tolerable! Been playing/DMing since 1978 and continuing to this day. Appreciate all your work with this podcast and the past podcasts (RFI & SOD) !! Keep up the great work and keep the shows coming!

Excellent Old School Actual Play
I was a fan of the Roll for Initiative Podcast and super sad when it finally went off the air after 10 years. Figured my AD&D 1e fix was pretty much gone. Then I saw one of the hosts converted his 5e actual play podcast to AD&D 1e and I was super excited! So far we have a few episodes up for season 2 and I love how its old school with all the same characters from the first season (I went back and binged them all). Good show. For those wondering, first season had a chracter that didn't make it into season two, but in season 2 we get a new player and we get some female representation with I believe her name is Sara. She is my favorite. I do think the Ulfric character is quite comical and cute.
I checked out the other shows on Roll High or Die and I found more shows I love!

Season 2 starts old school goodness with AD&D 1e, finally an audio podcast for the OSR! I know there is a few out there on youtube and twitch, but I like to consume audio podcasts while exercising or driving to work. As of writing this, there is two episodes up for season 2 and they are a great start. I haven't listened to season 1 yet, as the DM says season 1 is all 5e and at this point would be backstory for those who want to know more about the players and characters themselves. I am not sure I will listen because I hate 5e. Season 2 seems like a GREAT jumping on point as suggested on Reddit r/adnd - Can't wait for more!
