William Osborne of LOTW Studios and Sean Willis of Sillypenta, accompanied by a special guest each episode, have in depth discussions on brickfilms. The show revolves around showcasing classic, and sometimes pretty obscure brickfilms throughout its history, that they believe deserve more recognition.

w/Spite Your Face
In memory of Tony Mines (1978-2022).
Back in May, we had the honour of speaking to both Tony Mines and Tim Drage of Spite Your Face. Tony was suffering from terminal cancer at the time of recording, but despite this, was more than happy to participate in the podcast and share many stories of working together with Tim over the years. They were both great to talk with and they would go on to talk extensively about the process of making their most iconic films and give insight into their various inspirations and influences.
The other week, I made this episode available to members of the Bricks in Motion Patreon with the intent of releasing it to the public that following Wednesday. Just before I did so, we would hear the news of Tony's passing, that previous weekend. Given this news, we wanted to delay the release of the episode. Tony Mines and Tim Drage of Spite Your Face are a massive inspiration to so many people in the Brickfilming community; from some of the online pioneers, even to newer brickfilmers who started way into the time of YouTube. It is no exaggeration to say that they kickstarted so many people’s brickfilming journeys and are some of the first brickfilms many of us would have ever seen - myself included. Tony Mines was a true legend of the Brickfilming Community and the LEGO Community more broadly, and his legacy will live on for generations to come.
w/Jonni Phillips and Sonjira
Jonni Phillips (aka Just Kidden) and Ben Young of Sonjira join us as we discuss Jonni's massive influence on the Brickfilming Community as an animator, her recent 2D animated work, including her amazing new feature film Barber Westchester, Sonjira's multiplane brickfilms, and the process of conveying personal experiences via animation.

This is such a good podcast, I love it, it’s helped me through so many multi hour animation sessions, top tier podcast 10/10
I wish there were more stars I could give this. I have listened to this on many an animation session!
Entertaining, informative, and inspirational!
I may be a bit biased, being inside of the brickfilm community, but The World of Brickfilms Podcast is really fun to listen to, especially while I animate.
