Monologue #5 - Shamanic Reiki 4
In the first monologue for a while we pick up the trail of Shamanic Reiki with an examination of Usui's familiy buddhism, Tendai. Tendai also influenced other strands of energy arts in Japan, as well as Japanese culture more broadly, so this episode sets the scene for the more technique-based monologues to follow in this series. The early origins of the Tendai tradition in India and China are also explored.

I tried
As someone who has a taste for shamanism and wants to know more about it, I haven’t really learned much with this podcast though I’ve listened and tried. It’s hard to understand what they are saying (not because of the accents) at times when they are interrupting, and talking over each other and trying to “out smug” each other. There’s a certain kind of arrogance in their voice that I’m usually turned off by. I wish the podcast was warmer and more palatable. They could take some tips from other more informative podcasts.
Just what I was looking for
A wonderfully thoughtful exploration of practical shamanism, and other surrounding areas of thought. Highly valuable.
