Black Sexual Assault Awareness Week Day One!

Dr. Yulinda Renee Rahman aka Doc YuRoc, founder of Heal On Purpose Inc. celebrates Sexual Assault Awareness Month by instituting for the first time Black Sexual Assault Awareness Week! 

An official week of Sexual Assault Awareness Month will be dedicated to the lived experience of Black people to bring awareness to the prevalence and impact of sexual trauma on and within the Black community!
The week kicks off by highlighting the lived experience of Black Men and the lack of freedom they feel when it comes to choosing to not consent to sexual advances. 

This short episode introduces the concept and will be further explored during the Live Series taking place on the nonprofit's Instagram page @healonpurpose.inc.
