The birth of Jesus often gives us warm and comforting feelings. But do we ever think of it as a revolution, inaugurating the government of joy? This week Dwain and Ben discuss words like "Lord" and "Messiah" and "Savior," discovering how they transcend all other kinds of authority.
Joy to the Podcast
This week Ben and Dwain continue talking about happiness, this time jumping into the Christmas story. What is this "good news of great joy" and why does it matter for us?
The Surprise Discussion
This week Dwain and Ben finish up talking through the Beatitudes and discuss the surprise of resilient happiness.
The Satisfying Podcast
This week the Beatidudes keep on working through Jesus' "blessed" or "happy" statements in Matthew chapter 5, discussing the deep and satisfying happiness of trusting God in the midst of our meekness.

Best part of my morning!
I listen to this podcast every day on my way to work. I can't wait to get in the car and listen to the opening story and imagine myself in a particular place and time. Dwain and Ben do an awesome job of bringing theology to the people in a simple, fun, smart and heartwarming way! My hopes and daily thoughts have been uplifted and encouraged beyond what I thought they could during these days of covid and troubling times. When I finally get caught up to the current episode, I will start over again from the first season / first episode as I feel like I can't hear it enough.
These podcasts are funny, encouraging, thought provoking, and hopeful. With all the NoISe blaring from every direction in our world today, it is refreshing to listen to and refocus my mindset on the truth of the Word. I love the stories, past and present, of people living resiliently with Christ their cornerstone. “Run the race to win!”, is something I often say, and this podcast addresses the daily practice needed to be able to do this well, no matter the circumstances of life.
