My name is Rachel Balkovec and I am a strength and conditioning coach in professional athletics by trade. I have always been fascinated with the routes that people take to reach peak levels of performance through taking the path less traveled, having a vision that no one else could see and adding an insane work ethic to that vision to get to their end goal. These people seem to be operating in a different level of consciousness than the rest of the population - possibly, in the flow state. Theta waves are the brain waves that are typically associated with the flow state and are usually about 4-7hz. (This is the brain wave pictured on the logo!) I've had an opportunity to meet incredible people all over the world through my professional and personal experiences. Some of these people are shifting the paradigm in the space in which they work. When I have an opportunity to connect with these people for a conversation, I always walk away with practices and thought processes that I can apply to my own life and I hope to do the same for the audience.

This podcast is awesome....every single interview is so interesting, enlightening and thought provoking.....absolutely recommend this for everyone!
Finally a podcast that takes a different cut at being a “performance” / “S&C” podcast. Rachel does a good job at digging into people’s backgrounds and the behind the scenes of their successes.
Love the way Rachel intentionally looks to go deeper & create a growth culture with everything she does
