Women in Ministry - We miss the point of Scripture w/ Dr. Michelle Lee Barnewall #214
The Complementarian vs. Egalitarian debate has caused untold amount of arguments and division in the Church throughout the years. Complementarian's believe that women have limited roles in Church leadership while Egalitarian's believe men and women can hold the same positions in Church leadership. There's more to it than that but that's the general idea.
With that said, it's not surprising that this has been a contentious topic for many.
Dr. Michelle Lee Barnewall wrote a book titled "Neither Complementarian nor Egalitarian: A Kingdom Corrective to the Evangelical Gender Debate" that helps us get back to the point of the Scriptures. She asks the question, "Is the Bible concerned with who can do what, or is it calling us to something even higher that requires more love and sacrifice?

Wacky things Christian Fundamentalist believe #212
Christian's have been known to believe some weird things like a donkey spoke in the Bible, a sea actually split down the middle to allow people to walk on dry ground all the way across, and that God can forgive sins through faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross. Those are all true, by the way.
However, there are some Christians who believe in more dogmatic and cultural things than what the Bible says and some times those beliefs get out of control. Lately, those people have come to be known as fundamentalist.
Today we look at some of those weird belief and try to offer a better view.

The Bible tells us why Kanye left Jesus #211
Kanye recently was on BigBoy TV where he showed us all where he's at with his Christian walk. It's no secret that he has been a strong advocate of Christ for the last few years with his Jesus is King album and Sunday services he put on. However, last week on this interview he mentioned how he "Has issue with Jesus" doesn't pray, doesn't fear God, and ultimately said He is God.
Today Derry and Ethan go over things claims, where he is making some good points, and ultimately what we can all learn from Kanye.
