S3 E8: All about self-disclosure with Michele Mani Part 1
Michele Mani joins the podcast to talk about self-disclosure. This tool is so often used in therapy, but as you’ll hear in this episode, there is A LOT to unpack about its use. I’m so thankful that Michele came today to share her expertise in ways that will make us all better! My favorite part was her reminder that there’s a difference between psychological scars and psychological wounds. Ugh! SO GOOD! Be on the lookout for additional episodes with Michele as we continue to discuss this!

S3 E7: Imposter syndrome with Kindall Tyson
Imposter syndrome is a common experience for many people, but when I heard my guest, Kindall Tyson, share her thoughts I was moved to reflect on so many things in a new way. I loved how she shared that "everything is useful" and self-challenging questions like "what are some of the challenges I got through to get here?" can be helpful in small ways to overcome imposter syndrome. Most importantly, I am just so grateful to have shared space with Kindall this morning and I know you will be happy you shared space with us also. :)

S3 E6: ADHD in Women with Danielle Peters
I am so thankful we are talking about ADHD in women this week. It's critical that we take a broader picture of what ADHD is (and isn't) - but especially in women! Danielle Peters joins the podcast again today to chat all things ADHD. I especially loved when she said that we need to "learn with your brain instead of against your brain." BEAUTIFUL! Tune in this week as she shares what to recognize in women with ADHD, and ways to beat the stigma of asking for help. :)
As always, thanks for tuning in, folks!! Your support matters more than you know!

S3 E5: Radical self-compassion and self-inquiry with Dr. Akua Boateng
Dr. Akua Boateng came back to the podcast to talk about the power of friendship, with a particular bend toward self-compassion and self-inquiry. Her perspective on "you are new at this" when it comes to understanding our place in specific friendships was SO GOOD. In fact, there were so many moments in this episode where I was taking notes for my own life! One of my favorite quotes from this episode was "our resting position should remind people of our humanness." WHAT?!!? That's just amazing profound and simply breathtaking. Thank you to Dr. Akua for taking time to share with us today. Enjoy!
Dr. Boateng, a native of California, is a licensed psychotherapist with an emphasis in individual and couples therapy. A must listen!
This podcast is truly like therapy in your ears! I learn so much as a therapist and love sharing helpful episodes with clients
Tips everyone can use!
I found this podcast through being a guest on the podcast. It was really fun to talk with Beth and discuss the importance of marriage meetings for improving couple communication. My speciality is marriage counseling with military and veteran couples, so we talked a lot about some of the unique challenges facing military couples along with tips for military couples navigating military life stressors. Through the interview, Beth’s expertise and kindness was so apparent. This podcast covers many mental health and life tips that everyone could benefit from! I know that listeners will get a lot from the topics covered!
We don’t deserve Beth Trammell
I was privileged to meet Beth when we were graduate students. I know Beth to be one of the most empathic, authentic, courageous and concerned people on the planet. She is a true helper in most important ways. This podcast is another, high quality, high value endeavor that furthers her cause (helping others) in meaningful way. Thank you, Beth 🙏
