Think Again, My Friend Think Again My Friend

- Comedy
TAMF is a panel game, a genre of radio and television show popular in Britain. Our regular panelists Brendan Adkins (Children’s Hour of Knowledge), Mark Bergo and Christen McCurdy, plus occasional guests and our host Mike Sugarbaker, answer questions on ever-changing topics. The results are by turns hilarious, enlightening, thought-provoking, and roughly half an hour in length. Imagine Wait Wait Don't Tell Me but unhindered by the twin shibboleths of topicality and professionalism. @thinkagainpdcst

Episode 26: Security & Theater
In which we discuss Bono, _It's A Small World_, the Black Death, and Wagner. Is the sound better? I can't even tell anymore. Buckle up for entertainment!

Episode 25: Sharks
An age-old curse is lifted; now stop hitting us with that net. The regulars discuss Jaws, Aphex Twin, Zeus (have we not drawn enough supernatural ire already?), and yes, Animal Crossing. Please enjoy this as you have been conditioned to do, which is to say by not complaining about the sound quality because it's familiar from at least a dozen Zoom meetings. (This is our first fully-remote podcast, thanks for your forbearance! We'll get better at it.)

Episode 24: Animals In Sports
Your favorite rear dog of the sled returns, although the regulars plus Kat Jercich don't in fact manage to discuss the Iditarod much. Mike's LCD Soundsystem references get no love, and the kids are uptight. Brendan cobbles together, on the fly during our break, the most challenging and exciting round of This or That in the program's history. Nothing in the rules says an otter can't love himself. It's Think Again, My Friend. Mush.

Episode 23: Air
Some people say not to worry about the air, but it's touching you right now, just like TAMF. To be clear, this was recorded when Portland was experiencing some severe air quality issues. We had some quality issues of our own, notably with Christen and Brendan's microphones; not all of the sound glitches could be worked out in post, and we're sorry.

Episode 22: Taxes & Dogs
It's seldom but regularly tax time, and it's always dog time; somewhere in between, it's TAMF time. Topics discussed by the regulars, now including Ed Hawkins, include Leona Helmsley, cannons, and children. The sound may have a certain quality. Enjoy.

Episode 21: Electricity & Cake
There are no easy references in this episode of TAMF, by which I mean there are no references to Easy Bake Ovens. We make our first use of foley, unless it isn't foley anymore when the sound you hear is actually made by what it purports to be made by …
