Teasing brains, thinking laterally and solving fictional crimes. From the minds of Nika Harper and Tom Jordan!
The Wolf Creek Ghost
Ever given a ghost a ride in your car? Get a free cup of coffee! Nika is genuinely stumped and Tom enjoys it greatly, as a taxi driver's heart attack and frat boy car accidents lead to half puzzle solving, half unrelated tangents, as usual. ENJOY!
Edible Sexy Times
This one deviates a lot. Tom and Nika discuss plausible grounds for divorce, and a tape recorder that is the key to the murder. What, you wanted more info on the sexy stuff? Listen already. ENJOY!
Riding a Rake to the Moon
We travel the full length of a new character's life, completely by accident. She doesn't even factor in that much. Nika and Tom discuss cleaning faces, stilted conversation, and a blind man who isn't blind or something I dunno it's a doozy. There's a lot of annoying voices in this episode, you have been warned. ENJOY!
Explaining Jobs to Aliens
Sometimes you gotta think from a meta perspective. Zoom out the mind's eye a little bit. A little more. Yep you're right, foxes are cat-dogs. It's true! Nika and Tom guess a few bands with misheard lyrics, ask whether a mechanic is available, and ask about why a DJ would die. Rock and Roll never dies, why can a DJ? ENJOY!
Ever faced the unwinnable puzzle? We had TWO. Nika and Tom discuss a variety of topics vaguely related to the puzzles but massively related to the world at large, and keeping safe the ways we can. There's a murderous text message (how passé) and a naughty astronaut. Dig in, and ENJOY!
Nobody Thinks of the Curb
Curbs are a tripping hazard, yet nobody speaks of this egregious danger that lines our every street. Something must be done about these murderous curbs. Tom and Nika start a new safety campaign, go over a few softball puzzles and discuss men in dark rooms, and fleeing museums. It gets political. ENJOY!
I love Nika’s laugh. It’s one of the best parts of this podcast.
A fun puzzle podcast
This is a really fun podcast. The two hosts are funny and don't take things too seriously. The puzzles aren't too complex but are challenging.
Of course I've figured out the real reason for this podcast is so that Nika can research murder plots and find the one that will infallible. And I just revealed her plan here in a public place. I might need to rethink this.
Anyway, love the podcast.
