7 episodes

Welcome to our podcast and to the world of our Digital Workplace. In each episode, we will openly share our learnings, but also our biggest frustrations (yes, there are several to choose from). We will also talk about what makes us really excited about future technology and user behaviour. We might even share some of our plans ...

Episode 7 - The one with Zuzana and the Search

Episode 7 - The one with Zuzana and the Search

Search – a love / hate relationship for more Digital Workplace owners than us? We want it to be the heart of the user experience, the reassuring way to find what you are looking for, every time. You know, like Google. Ha! Not so easy to accomplish as it turns out. Getting the FAST search engine as part of SharePoint 2013 was just not enough, as it turned out. The search as such is good, but two main things ruin the user experience; the page design and the content quality. This 7th episode is featuring Zuzana, who is telling all about how we are going to improve the search experience for our users.

Episode 6 - The one about cool stuff

Episode 6 - The one about cool stuff

In the sixth episode we are talking about cool stuff that has inspired us lately. Like internal TED talks, taking advantage of the company brain, running clean-out projects in a super efficient way (well, that may not sound so super cool, but just you wait 'til you hear what some companies do) and taking the adoption process to another level. We share some of the highlights from bench-marking and events that we've attended during the autumn.

Episode 5 - The one with Mr Bengt

Episode 5 - The one with Mr Bengt

In the fifth episode we are talking about Change Management. Together with our guest, Bengt Rubin, we discuss actions that he strongly advised us to do back in the days of launch and roll out, but that we for different reasons did NOT do. (Which we of course later came to regret.) It is interesting to reflect on why we chose to do as we did and draw some learnings on why the proposed actions would have been very beneficial in getting a more efficient change management in place.

Episode 4 - The one about who's who

Episode 4 - The one about who's who

In the fourth episode we will talk about finding people and competence. How the honest testimony from a French young man far away from his safety zone totally opened our minds to the importance of knowing more about each other, and how that is beneficial for the company. But we will also talk about how real life doesn't always respond to the dream scenarios.

Episode 3 - The one about fears

Episode 3 - The one about fears

In the third episode we will talk about the fears we have met, and still continue to meet. Both our own, but also the ones others have confronted us with. Who do you think found the social features scary - the users or the management? And why? Also, fear is a tricky emotion, and being able to see that an angry reaction is nothing but fear in disguise can be a great help in how you manage it.

Episode 2 - The one about profiling

Episode 2 - The one about profiling

In this second episode we'll talk about profiling and personalization which was an essential part of our original digital workplace concept - and how it turned out to be extremely hard to accomplish. We share our thoughts of what makes it (still) so difficult, from technical, content and human perspective. And still, there is no way back to one-size-fits all!
