EP 40: Special Edition: Happy 50th Birthday to Me!

EP 40: Special Edition: Happy 50th Birthday to Me!

In this final episode of Season 1, I'm celebrating a birthday, 50!  In this special Thursday edition of This Midlife in BOLD podcast, I reflect on the journey of my first 49 years, how I’ve stopped the restless searching for the perfect everything and my biggest takeaway: I am enough as I am. On this day, the official halfway point of the year, I'm firmly planted and living life in the middle and I couldn't be more at peace, content, and happy about that.  Now please excuse me, I need to go blow out some candles and have some cocktails to celebrate life in the middle.

EP 39: On the Verge of 50

EP 39: On the Verge of 50

I'm in my final days of this decade and I'm excited to welcome 50 and a new chapter. In this episode, I'm reviewing life since starting this podcast one year ago, the process of how Midlife in Bold came to be, a new business project I'm working on, the mindset shifts that I have made to overcome my limiting beliefs and own my worth and value, and what I have identified as my biggest barrier to success and living my purpose, resistance. Resistance comes disguised in many forms and can manifest in a number of unhealthy ways. Once you identify how resistance shows up in your life, you can begin to make the shifts to move past your resistance to live life with clarity and purpose.  If you've ever started a project or work on a goal and then stopped or avoided making a change and then regretted it, it might be resistance. The good news is, once you realize how resistance is showing up in your life, you can overcome it.

Affectionately known as the “Loud Blonde” by friends and fans, Kelly Cochran is a professional motivator who shares her message of female empowerment on stages and podcasts across the country.  Before diving head-first into entrepreneurship, Kelly spent 15 years working in SEO, brand strategy and project management in corporate America. EP 37: My "Eat, Pray, Love" Entrepreneur Journey: Changing Careers in Midlife

EP 37: My "Eat, Pray, Love" Entrepreneur Journey: Changing Careers in Midlife

In today's podcast, I'm talking about my top 7 challenges and my top 8 gifts that came from taking a leap of faith four years ago. At the age of 46, I drove away from a career of 20 years and embarked on what I call my "Eat, Pray, Love" Entrepreneur Journey...Midwest style! Spoiler Alert:  there was no trip to Italy, India, or Bali, just good old Illinois!  I wish I had someone to guide me along this solopreneur journey so I'm sharing my raw, honest experience of blindly following my passion and how that led to some big challenges, setbacks, and disappointments but at the same time also opened my eyes to how BOLD I am.  I love creating, inspiring, and growing as a midlife entrepreneur and my journey is unfolding exactly as it is supposed to.  So, if you're  a woman in the middle and you're thinking of taking a BOLD leap into being your own boss, you won't want to miss this episode.  Let's get social and connect with me on Instagram or Facebook @midlifeinbold or visit me at www.midlifeinbold.com.

Loukia is For Real

Loukia's podcasts are down to earth, entertaining, and exactly what this Midlife woman needs. I've only listened to her most recent podcast and now need to go back to listen to all of her other ones. Loukia has also been my wellness coast for the past year and being able to listen to the podcast is the gentle, well "kick in the ass" I need. A perfect addition to my journey of self improvement!

Loukia is the real deal!

Loukia was my wellness coach when she lived in Chicagoland. Now that she’s living her dream in San Diego, her podcast allows me to stay close to her and her adventurous spirit. I never miss an episode!

A great listen!

Loukia’s podcast leaves me feeling energized, educated, and reassured, but most of all I feel like I’m enjoying time with a friend. As a stay-at-home mom, the days can be long and sometimes isolating. Hearing Loukia’s encouraging voice through my speakers while my kids nap is a highlight of the week. Thank you, Loukia!
