This is a philosophy podcast, where each week different philosophers explain a topic or idea that they are an expert in, and about which they are currently interested. There is no real focus other than philosophy, but metaphysics, logic, philosophy of religion, philosophy of science, ethics, etc, are all things that are covered.

Clarity of Thought

No matter the topic Alex and guests have a clarity of thought very refreshing in our modern day and age. The listener will benefit simply by gleaning how to think about arguments and formulate consistent rationality. Anyone who can reduce Matt Slick's TAG to rubble is worth your time.

Great talks, but hard to listen to.

Rare treat finding a new podcast that covers so many issues within contemporary philosophy. Guests and discussions are all great, however some of them are borderline unlistenable. Drastic differences in microphone quality (usually very low) make it difficult to get through some discussions. I highly recommend the host invest in a halfway decent mic and maybe take some time to optimize the guests’ audio quality if they themselves do not have a decent mic.

Great, no-nonsense interviews

I find myself having to pause the podcast and even rewind it a bit to catch up with the discussions due to the seriousness and (in a good way) challenging topics. Keep up the good work!
