TIFFANY (on New Music, New Tour, The 80s, Debbie Gibson, Madonna & More!‪)‬ BEHIND THE VELVET ROPE

    • TV & Film

Tiffany steps Behind The Rope. Yes, Tiffany. No last name needed Tiffany. Checking in from the road from the North American Leg of her “Shadows” Tour, one thing is clear. Tiffany is thrilled to be back on the road performing songs from her 11th full length studio album “Shadows” as well as all her retro hits we have come to know and love so much. .Tiffany chats about what it was like to larger than life famous at the young age of 16, thanks, in large part to her catchy hit “I Think We’re Alone Now” as well as a ground breaking, now infamous, mall tour that took her across America. Tiffany chats about her almost four decade long music career which has included every genre of music - pop, punk, country, ballads, rock and the ups and downs she has faced in the music business along the way. We chat about some of those other Female Icons that ruled the charts at the time Tiffany came into her own - Madonna, Whitney Houston, Tina Turner, Paula Abdul, and Cyndi Lauper. We chat about her best celeb experiences - she really has met everyone - and how music has changed over the years. Tiffany discuses those other aspects of her career such as acting and reality TV - shows she has been involved in, the good, the bad, the other. Of course, we had to chat about her ties to Debbie Gibson, their friendship, their starring roles together in the SyFy classic “Mega Python vs. Gatoroid (yes, it is as good as it sounds), and why the public always has associated and does and will associate each with the other. We talk about some of Tiffany’s recent tours with other acts we just can’t get enough of like NKOTB, Salt-N-Pepa, and Naughty By Nature. Tiffany reveals the current crop of musical chart topers she puts her stamp of approval on and how different being famous at a young age in the social media world of today is to her epic breakthrough in the 80’s. Finally, seeing as Music Biopics are all the rage (Elton John, Freddy Mercury, Cher), Tiffany reveals who she would love to play her in her very own life story and just what can we expect from a potential Tiffany “tell-all” book. Have we mentioned just how thrilled we are that Tiffany is back live with new music touring the states for the remainder of the year!
