TIME ACADEMY: Should I charge for this‪?‬ Xandra the Witch | Time Academy

Reader, are you ready for my most vulnerable episode yet??
Tbh, I almost didn’t publish this 😳. For, in this episode, I break the illusion of fearless leadership. I admit that I don’t have it all figured out. But here it is; I’m sharing it anyway, because I trust it will be relatable. I’m an Aries rising, it’s what I do. Boldly, I volunteer to bare my soul, to embarrass myself, to go first so it’s easier for the next person 👊🏼. TIME WILL TELL. In  the future I suspect I’ll point back to this episode as evidence of my own progress in uncovering certainty.
In the episode, I share my questioning over whether to make the Time Academy podcast series for Substack members only. Speaking it aloud, I found confidence in making episodes free by default, while reserving the the option to make some private. Substack members will ALWAYS get a new weekly episode, and everyone else will USUALLY get one, to be determined on a week-by-week basis.
Most of all, I celebrate that time has told (is that an expression? Do we say that?) about my Priestess Diaries Substack blogposts. I feel good about the format and flow and pricing for the key to these intimate pages. Hooray! 🌷
So know that if you’re getting started, on your first big project or your fiftieth (or like, I, you’ve lost count), you are not alone in the wobbliness. You will find solidity in your venture (probably six months from when you started 😇), and one day, it will be so easy, you forget it was ever a thing to fret about.
Cheers to the journey, and enjoy the show,

Should I charge for this? And other questions for you:
* How does it feel to be a creator in such a noisy media landscape?
* How do you view art and media differently when you pay for it?
* If you are a creator yourself, how do you make decisions about charging for your work? What questions and uncertainties come up?
