    Hello, friend!
A short and sweet episode for you today where I reflect on what I needed to hear before I stopped drinking.

This episode goes out to those brave souls who are standing at the crossroads of sobriety. It is a nudge, not a push, to listen to more of what you're saying to yourself because chances are that is what you need, and deserve to hear today.

Can’t say enough good things!

Lori is a kind, accessible host, but she also packs a punch with information. This is about her ever-relatable midlife journey to being alcohol-free and to simply living well. She interviews wonderful guests too, but it’s the quality of Lori’s delivery that is so amazing. I always feel like she is speaking directly to me. I don’t miss an episode. Lori is a powerful, supportive voice in sober midlife living.

Hit home with me!

I felt your passion. I relate to your story. Today I am on my 31st day of sobriety, which I have tried and failed at several times. I have been listening to many podcasts about sobriety for the past year or more! At 65, and embarking on this journey, i appreciate the focus on an older woman who has struggled with alcohol abuse. For me, this was elevated after retirement! I doubt I am alone! Thank you for focusing “later-in-life” self discovery and positive change.

Committing to quit episode

Thank you for the episode about difficulty committing to quit. You were on fire, on point! I listened to it twice. I am 1 year sober January 7 2024 and I have been listening regularly. I have 2 challenges coming up this year my daughters wedding and a trip to Japan with my son. Will continue to persevere! Thanks again for you contribution to my life.
