Episode 38: Does This Fandom Spark Joy?
The world is a disaster, so the Toku Ladies are bringing you a 2 1/2 hour episode about mental health, self-care, curating our relationships with online fandom communities, and how fandom can help us cope. And we answer a bunch of community questions.

Episode 37: Diend of the Decade
Time has no meaning anymore. As 2020 has already been a decade long, the Toku Ladies cover the previous decade, toku of the 2010s. How the shows have changed, how the fandom has changed, and how the discourse has changed.
Note: This episode was recorded on Galentine's Day. We are serious when we say time no longer has any meaning. -
Episode 36: And That’s How You Know It’s Kamen Rider!
To celebrate the end of an era, we cover all of the Heisei era Kamen Riders! TSB attempts to describe all of the seasons, despite never finishing one, and we answer a bunch of listener questions.
Note: When we recorded this episode, Cat had not yet chosen her new name. We use her old name in the episode. We have her permission to keep the original recording intact, but please note that the person we say understands Decade is named Cat. -
Episode 35: Toku Canon
It's part 2 of our What is Canon series! Last Time we discussed canon broadly, and this time we apply it to toku! From our favorite headcanons, to how does this shared universe work, to a general agreement about whether or not canon even matters, we cover it all!

Episode 34: What Was Tops at Rangerstop!
In this episode, hosts TheSecondBatgirl and PockySquirrel team up with guesthosts PantherNGA and Rivulet027 to talk about the first year of Rangerstop Atlanta! We cover the good (pretty much everything), the bad (some typical first year problems), and the panels (possibly the best we've ever attended).
Also we watched Buffalo Boys and Ex-Aid. Thank you, Dr. Pac-Man!

Vital perspective in the Toku community
There are enough straight white guy voices dominating Toku fandom, and the Toku Ladies prove why it’s so important to have diverse perspectives within a community — especially one that was diverse to begin with! Even though I don’t have the breadth of Toku knowledge these hosts do (and thus have no idea what they’re talking about sometimes) I still love their thoughtful insights on fandom and media, which often run counter to “mainstream” conversations or highlight areas that simply aren’t talked about enough, including social justice, representation, and inclusion. It’s not just a good show, it’s an IMPORTANT one.
Thoughtful, insightful view.
I've been listening to this podcast for a few months, and I've enjoyed the hard look at uncomfortable practices in the toku environment and fandom as well. I've learned a lot and hope to keep enjoying the way they celebrate the fandom and the media we all love!
Fan
Very good, definitely worth a listen for Power Rangers fans! Great discussion and excellent chemistry between the crew.
