    TL380 - X-Men '97 - S2E7 - Strange Land, Savage Heart

    It's a trial of heart this week as we see Nightcrawler fighting for his half brother, Graydon Creed, during a trial against mutants on the island of Savage Land. This is a stand out episdoe for Kurt Wagner, as we being to understand what he's all about, and how strong his faith is, and what he's willing to do to give someone a second chance.     TL378 - Justice League Unlimited - S2E11-13 - Panic In The Skies, Divided We Fall & Epilogue

    Well Unlimited Leaguers we have come to the end of season 2 of Justice League Unlimited. We had a 2-part finale with Panic in the Skies and Divided We Fall. Then we closed the season with an Epilogue. Panic in the Skies see Galatea and the Ultimen sent by Cadmus to attack the Watchtower. It is an all-out battle with our core League members having surrendered to the Government. Steel & Supergirl are able to defeat Galatea but the League has no way to get to earth. Divided we fall see the core League members and Amada Waller turning on Lex. But they don't have a victory, because Brainiac takes him over fully. Brainiac & Lex take over the Darkhart tech, and it is a hard battle for our heroes. Flash is able to use the Speedforce to separate Lex and Brainiac. The League is able to pull him back from the Speedforce. Superman wants to disband the League. However Green Arrow and the world will not accept it. So they pledge to have an embassy and do better to serve not from above the world but in it. Epilogue serves as the series finale of Batman Beyond. It is set in the future beyond the events of Batman Beyond. Terry discovers he was not just Bruce's replacement but basically his son. In the time since the events of this season of JLU, Amanda grew to respect Batman and see the need that the world will always need Batman. She used Cadmus tech to infuse Terry's dad with Bruce's DNA. Bruce didn't know when he found and mentored Terry. Terry wants to quit but Amanda tells him about Batman's past with Ace and other facts.     TL377 - X-Men '97 - S2E6 - Danger.Exe

    It's time for Polaris to shine like a green sun in the afternoon sky!! Wow, do we ever get a good look at who she is and what she is capable of, and it's fantastically awesome! We see Xavier struggling with his grief over the loss of Magnus, his best friend, and is using the danger room to help him work through it. But the danger room starts thinking on it's own, and seeing the constant failures, decides it needs to make things more difficult so the X-Men can survive in today's world of mutant haters. That self awareness and thought brings it to sentient life and it escapes the danger room in it's new cyborg like body! Proving to be a bit more than the team can handle, Xavier powers up Polaris with memories of how her father, Magneto, could control his strength, and that allows her to unleash her full power, stopping Danger...for now... It's an episode full of emotion, action, and tearful reunions, and a green star rejoining the team!     It's a legit two parter this week! Lex Luthor continues his triple crossing schemes fooling Amanda Waller into thinking Cadmus is working with him, while also fooling the League that he is trying to help the world, and then also fooling the current president that they're all working together!  It's getting serious. Superman is losing his cool, as he's the only one that won't buy into Luthor's false words, and this time it gets out of control as he fights Captain Atom, who rejoined the air force!     TL374 - Justice League Unlimited - S2E7&8 - Clash & Hunter's Moon

    It's double clashing this week as both episodes deal with League members who don't necessarily get along! First in Clash, Captain Marvel gets himself in trouble as he can't keep his mouth shut, and he disagrees with Superman about Lex Luthor. It kicks off an all out brawl that decimates the city, that ends up in him quitting the League and the founding members have to look themselves in the mirror. Next in Hunter's Moon, Hawkgirl leads a mission to space, with Vixen and Vigilante in tow, and it's a facedown on who should actually lead, and who should actually date Green Lantern!     Are you in for a doozy? We mean, the two episodes covered here are doozy enough, but we really get into it all for you. All the history, backstory, connections, it's all here as you know you can trust us to bring you! Rise of Apocalypse Part 1 & 2....simply WOW.....and WOAH....and....yeah..pretty speechless after that one. X-Men '97 is showing us and all other animation studios exactly how it should be done. In fact, the movies should take note, and see how a 30min cartoon can write such powerful stories with important dialogue that keeps you invested with uninterupted attention.
