    TL374 - Justice League Unlimited - S2E7&8 - Clash & Hunter's Moon

    It's double clashing this week as both episodes deal with League members who don't necessarily get along! First in Clash, Captain Marvel gets himself in trouble as he can't keep his mouth shut, and he disagrees with Superman about Lex Luthor. It kicks off an all out brawl that decimates the city, that ends up in him quitting the League and the founding members have to look themselves in the mirror. Next in Hunter's Moon, Hawkgirl leads a mission to space, with Vixen and Vigilante in tow, and it's a facedown on who should actually lead, and who should actually date Green Lantern!     Are you in for a doozy? We mean, the two episodes covered here are doozy enough, but we really get into it all for you. All the history, backstory, connections, it's all here as you know you can trust us to bring you! Rise of Apocalypse Part 1 & 2....simply WOW.....and WOAH....and....yeah..pretty speechless after that one. X-Men '97 is showing us and all other animation studios exactly how it should be done. In fact, the movies should take note, and see how a 30min cartoon can write such powerful stories with important dialogue that keeps you invested with uninterupted attention.     Justice League Unlimited - S2E5&6 - The Balance and Double Date

    Unlimited Leaguers we have two exciting episodes with small team-ups this week. Like Green Arrow, hold on tight because we are going to Tartarus and back. "The Balance" has the Greek gods sending Wonder Woman on a mission to save Hades from Felix Faust. Faust has tricked Tala and inhabited the Annihilator. He went to Tartarus to seek revenge on Hades. After chaining Hades up, he spends his time in the library learning all the dark magic from the books. Wonder Woman knows her weapons will not work. She tries to take Hawkgirl's mace. But ends up enlisting Hawkgirl to help. Before entering Tartarus, Diana's mother fully activates Wonder Woman's armor and lasso.  The 2 ladies make their way to Faust. They are whisked away by his magic. They free Hades and the three of them take down Faust. "Double Date" has the Huntress trying to take out Steven Mandragora. He was the man who killed her parents when she was young, as she watched from the closet.  But Manhunter had set it up as a test and she failed. He kicks her out of the League.  Before she goes, she offers to help The Question if he helps her. He knows she can't help him, but he likes her and wants to help. They track down Mandragora. He is in protective custody of the feds along with Green Arrow and Canary. Mandragora tricks the Arrow and Canary to try and hurt him and get thrown out. The feds are then taken down by Mandragora's thugs. He escapes to the docks. Question and Huntress head there but they are being followed by Arrow and Canary. At the docks, Mandragora is waiting for a ship. It holds his son, who was kidnapped and then rescued. Steven and his son were going to escape. He easily takes out Arrow and Question. Canary's cry shockingly barely phases him! Huntress gets the drop on him but can't kill him because of his son. In the end, she traps him until he can be taken away. The episode closes with Question and Huntress becoming a couple.     TL369 - Justice League Unlimited - S2E3&4 - The Doomsday Sanction and Taskforce X

    The Justice League is up against Amanda Waller, her council of allies, and Taskforce X (a.k.a. The Suicide Squad) this week.  Waller is a planner and wants to protect the world from the League by any means. Batman and the League must examine themselves and their crew carefully. "The Doomsday Sanction" has a confrontation between Batman and Waller that leaves them both shaken. She and her allies are creating means of stopping the League to prevent what happened with the Justice Lords. In this process, they created Doomsday. The Justice Lord's Superman lobotomized Doomsday. But he has regenerated and is set free by Dr. Milo. Doomsday interrupts the League's rescue mission and fights Superman. Batman stops the Kryptonite nuclear bomb and Superman traps Doomsday in lava. The League sends him to the Phantom Zone. Batman is still leery of what the League can do. "Taskforce X" is Waller's Suicide Squad. All the members except for Flag are criminals freed from death row. They are forced into five years of service with an explosive implanted in their heads. Flag, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, the Clock King, and Plastique are tasked with getting abord the Watchtower. Once there, they are to blow the reactor to cause confusion and steal the Annihilator. The Clock King's plan goes well, until the Taskforce reaches the bridge level. Shining Knight, Vigilante, and Atom Smasher put up a fight that slows them down. Martian Manhunter almost has them, until Plastique threatens an unconscious Atom Smasher with a bomb in his mouth. Captain Atom helps but the Taskforce, minus Plastique, escape. They deliver the Annihilator to Waller.     Justice League Unlimited - S2E1-2 - The Cat and The Canary and The Ties That Bind

    It is time to start Justice League Unlimited season 2. This season we are covering 2 eps at a time. Tonight it is "The Cat and The Canary" and "The Ties That Bind." Black Canary is on mission taking down bad guys, but her back-up, Wildcat is not there to help.  She finds out he is bored on the Watchtower and with training heroes.  He wants action. He has become addicted to the fight and the fame of cage fighting super villains. Canary enlists Green Arrow to help track Wildcat down and get him out. They begin their flirtatious dance that will lead to them being a couple. But the road is rocky.  Canary and Arrow find the fight den, but Canary must agree to fight Wildcat and win to get him to leave.  GA knocks her out and fights Wildcat. Wildcat seemingly kills Green Arrow. But it was a trick. Wildcat is snapped out of it and they take down the arena. In the second story Mister Miracle and Big Barta are working on a escape routine to make money. Granny Goodness steps in and takes their mentor Oberon to Apokolips. The husband-and-wife duo know they are not enough to bring Granny down. She wants to use them to win control of the planet from Vundabar.  They ask for help from the League but get shut down my Manhunter. Flash agrees to help the.  The 3 must navigate The Pitt, Granny's chamber of horrors for producing her warriors.  They free Kalibak and with Manhunter's help free Oberon.
