    Self-Love Purgatory

    Self-Love Purgatory

We need to have a conversation about self-love and self-acceptance and how we treat ourselves. Diet mentality often includes a belief that you aren’t deserving of certain things (confidence, self-care, even acceptance) UNTIL you reach your goal (whatever that is).
    Let’s discuss.

    Bunnies and Seeing Better Results

    Bunnies and Seeing Better Results

Today I’d like to tell you a story about a quirky habit and how it relates to the neuroscience of happiness. We’re also going to cover how you can use this information to create more positive results when you’re working to change your eating habits or break cycles with emotional eating. AND (stick with me), I’m going to tell you how all of this can help you create momentum and ongoing motivation when you’re in the midst of change.
This sounds like a lot- I know. And it all starts with counting bunnies on my runs.

    When Rebellion is Sabotaging You

How do we juggle all the moving parts? How do we listen to ourselves, acknowledge that feeling of “I don’t want to” and not feel like we’re held captive in a cycle of rebellious self-sabotage?

Get Curious Instead of Perfect

Dr. Melissa encourages us to get curious and learn from our imperfections. She is right that absolutely no one can have Peace With Food and have done it perfectly. No one. I love her thoughts on the experimenting and learning and her encouragement to not “start over” but to instead just take a next step.

Golden Keys to Freedom

Dr Melissa offers the real formulas to change the things that matter. No more superficial plans that lead to constant attacks on my feelings of self-worth.
