The exercise of faith is not distinct from developing an upright, holy character. Connection with God - the ability to ”touch the hand of God” in one’s life experience is predicated on having a character standing before God that is God-approved.
Apostle Peter wrote:
As he who has called, you is holy, be you also, holy in all your conduct; because it is written, “be holy, for I am holy

And if you invoke as father, him, who, without regard of persons, judges, according to the work of each, pass your time of Sojourn in fear.
