My son has Tourettes

First of all, the quality of this podcast is way better than what I expected it would be. Anyway, my 12 year old son has TS and it’s been a roller coaster of a ride that started when he was 2 years old. I’m so grateful for social media and those coming forward sharing their experience with TS. When my son was diagnosed my only knowledge of TS was “that disease that makes you swear” it was earth shattering but the swearing never came. I would have to explain to other parents before play dates that my son has TS so he might do some weird things “but don’t worry, he doesn’t yell cuss words”. There are so many similarities in the stories of this podcast that it’s kind of therapeutic. Hearing adults speak about how they have navigated fulfilling lives with TS gives this mom and son hope. Thank you for this podcast and being a part of breaking the stigma!

Touretters Unite!

I love this podcast. It is like the group of friends I wished I knew when I was a kid. Ben is amazing, humble, brave, and his guests are no less than my personal heroes. Thank you for this. I am so grateful for this podcast.
