Hosted by Knol (who has a history with Howard The Duck going back to the early 80's) and Russell (a relative newcomer to Howard), every other week we go through 2 issues or an arc of Howard's Marvel comic history and some of the creators backgrounds and interviews, storied histories and the weird world of 1970’s comic books. Ducktacular!
Recently found this podcast and it’s awesome. I never read Howard’s funny book adventures and it’s been a total blast discovering these fantastically weird comics. The hosts are great and their love of Howard is infectious. Cannot recommend this podcast and Howard the Duck comics enough.

I remember leaving the downtown Owatonna theater in August of ‘86 thinking I saw a weird but entertaining movie that had duck boobs. My Dad turned to me and said, “that was the worst movie I have ever seen.” I was crestfallen. My Dad didn’t care for this, why why? By the mighty powers of Siskel and/or Ebert, why? Okay I was 12, and I just saw boobs (albeit fowl ones) and I didn’t care what my Dad thought. I mean seriously, he liked Hee-Haw.
Thus started my love Howard T. Duck. I knew he was a comic character but I never saw his comics at the local Hy-Vee so it wasn’t until much later I got to read the Complete Collections. And now I have Knol and Russell going through the same journey as bi-weekly they go through a couple of issues with the same enthusiasm that I had when was 12. Funny, poignant, and as nutty as the source material, Trapped in a World is the, and not because it’s the only, best podcast about Howard the Duck. ‘Nuff said.
