Let's be real. We grew up thinking that our 20s would be the time of our lives. But it's not really what we've seen on tv shows and movies. I'm in my mid-twenties and a lot of my life consists of me making decisions hoping that it’s the right one, trying to navigate a life outside my job/school, and wondering, “Am I doing this whole 20s thing correctly?” Funny enough, many of the people I talked to feel the same way. So let's get through this 20-something life together :)

Episode #3: My Career is Not My Entire Life

Episode #3: My Career is Not My Entire Life

As a kid, when I wasn’t at school and I wasn’t doing homework, then I did not think about school ONCE. My sole goal after school was to have fun and relax. And somewhere along the way, all of that changed. My life became all about school and work all the time. But now I want to change that. I’ll still work hard at work, and that means doing work even after I come home and sometimes on the weekends too, but since I have the luxury of living a well-balanced life, why shouldn’t I pretend I’m 6 years old and selling lemonade to the fellow neighbors, or 10 years old and going around the neighborhood with my brother on our Razor scooters, or 15 and talking on the phone with my friend for hours at a time even though we just spent the whole day in high school together?

We should do more things to make us happy just because they're fun and because we want to

Amazing and Inspiring

Love this podcast so much already! The host, Sandhya, is hilarious and relatable, but also informative and prepared. She gives great advice, and as a woman in my twenties I’m glad to know I’m not alone in trying to figure this whole thing out. Can’t wait to listen more and definitely recommend!
