Welcome to Tumbleson County. God's country. The land of milk and honey. A place full of monsters, demons, and pure evil... and that's just the citizens. From the folks that brought you "The Misadventures of Max's Minions", "Troublesome Times" is a weekly podcast/campaign run using the Monster of the Week RPG system from Evil Hat Productions and set in 1933 Not-Mississippi as Prohibition is coming to an end and ominous forces are circling the poor county like vultures readying for a meal. While the county's most powerful families fight amongst each other to secure their place at the table in the coming armageddon, a brave (and questionably intelligent) group of men and women and... animal... have banded together to try save their fellow Tumblesonians or, at the very least, themselves.

Gorious Fun

The heroes of Tumbleson County have been keeping me company for a while now, and I am glad I was introduced. This quirky, twisted tale of doomed misfits starts off a bit slow, but soon roped me in with its cast of engaging characters and it’s quaint mix of Southern decadence and homeliness. It serves up moments of true horror and poignancy, but never without a heaping helping of irreverent humor and fun on the side. So put on your best Southern accent, grab a slice of pie, and check out this unique actual play podcast.

A Fun Romp

Youngtown, (Not-)Mississippi. Wafts of voodoo from the Devil's Backyard drift across Old Man River. A woman sits on her porch with her burbon and shotgun. A teenage simpleton chases a dog(?) carrying a car bumper through town. The Sheriff sits quietly in the diner eating his pie. Sounds calm, but nothing stays that way in Tumbleson County. Be prepared for a ride across the river, through the woods and back roads to both blessed and forsaken locations, to funerals and the wedding of Snake Hands Jimmy, with people who aren't always what they seem... Sit back and enjoy the ride!

Not d&d but not bad ether

Minion humor at its best. Got introduced to a new game that I have never herd and am currently running with friends all because of the minions. Great group and great hijinks
