Hosts Nic and the Captain invite you to grab a chair, grab a beer and join them as they talk some true crime. This is no ordinary garage: it’s a rabbit hole of true crime, with a generous supply of alcohol and banter to lighten the load. From international atrocities to heinous stories on (US) home turf, dive head-first into a different case each week, and enjoy a cold one whilst your there.

If you consider yourself an armchair detective, you’re in the right place, and you’re amongst friends. For the mystery-seeker, True Crime Garage presents an archive of missing persons, unsolved and cold cases, plus accounts of infamous serial killers and chilling solved cases.

Join Nic & The Captain in the Garage for a riveting and energy filled discussion about the West Memphis 3 case. This case and True Crime story continues to be one of the more debated cases of the 20th century, even after more than 30 years has passed. Why can’t we as a collective community move on from this case? Is it because the case manages to creep its way back into the headlines, over and over again? Or, is it because at the end of the day we are all afraid that we may never know the truth about what happened in Robin Hood Hills, on May 5th, 1993? We are still seeking justice for Steve Branch, Michael Moore, Christopher Byers, and their families.

West Memphis 3 /// A Harvest of Innocence

    Part 2 of 2

    www.TrueCrimeGarage.com
After taking a listen once again to our West Memphis 3 case coverage from 2016 we have decided to revisit the case and get some additional thoughts from a perspective not yet heard on TCG. Today we welcomed in Dan Stidham, the Defense Attorney for Jesse Misskelley Jr. Mr. Stidham represented Jesse for many years and at some points was assisting Jason Baldwin as well. He has since gone on to become a highly respected Judge in Arkansas. While he is not a fan of the Alford plea, he remains one of the key figures in this case that helped the West Memphis 3 to finally get released from prison after serving 18 years.

This week’s recommended reading is - A Harvest of Innocence; the untold story of the West Memphis Three murder case by Dan Stidham

Hooked!

Only podcast I listen to but I am hooked. Had to start from the beginning so I’m years behind, but I’m going to push through and catch up eventually. Love both hosts!!!

Steadily going down hill

I’ve been listening to this pod for YEARS and am editing my review. I am so sick and tired of true crime podcasters constantly editorializing and pushing a political agenda. Half of the time you guys glaze LE and the other half you sound like a SJW. I don’t know if you’re confused or trying to ride the fence but you’re just alternating which half of your audience you piss off. Here’s a thought-stick to true crime and shove the rest up your…ear balls.

No longer a yes for me.

Have been a listener for years, but am finding it harder & harder to get through episodes. Maybe my tastes have just changed as better & better podcasts come on the scene. I no longer can stand to listen to the Captain. He comes at everything with such a juvenile outlook & his interruptions & rants are obnoxious. They take away from the story & that’s not a good thing.
