    Episode 75: Pamela Smart

    Episode 75: Pamela Smart

It's True Crime New England's 75th episode! To celebrate, Katie and Liz talk about a very well-known case: the murder of Greggory Smart, orchestrated by his wife, Pamela. The young couple had just been married, and quickly their lives went from being fun and spontaneous, to career-focused and full of responsibilities. Pamela found herself working for the New Hampshire School District, which put her constantly with teenagers. It wasn't long before Pamela met and "fell in love" with a 16-year-old, who she started an inappropriate sexual relationship with. It was less than a year into their marriage when Pamela gave her groomed teenage companion an ultimatum- kill my husband, or we're breaking up! Thus, Gregg's murder plot was born and subsequently ended with his death, the arrest of 4 teenagers, and the truth about Pamela Smart coming to light.

Interesting Cases, But Sound Quality Is Poor

Really love that this pod focuses on New England -based cases. The two hosts have a great vibe together, and I love that they state their sources up front. The shows are a good length to listen to when driving home or working out. My only wish is that the sound quality was better. The mic pick up sounds like you're speaking from too far away, maybe? Or maybe your headsets are interfering? Invest in better euipment and you've got a winner. Keep up the good work!

It’s okay..

Audio could be better, they’re a little annoying and immature, intro banter is wayyy tooo long but Podcast has potential.

Horrible

The quality and story organization are atrocious. I’m an investigator on a case covered and it’s not only grossly inaccurate, but so poorly researched it’s doing more harm than good.
