Too many ads

Used to love the podcast and content but 4-5 ads in a 30 minute episode is too much for me. As someone who listens to podcasts while working, I dont want to stop what im doing every couple minutes to skip ads. I understand apple inserts their own ads, but the podcast itself also has multiple ad reads every episode.

Ugh I hate to leave a low review but there are just way too many ads and way too frequent. I would understand for longer episodes but on a 30 minute episode, I’m only about half way into the story but there’s already been three separate ad breaks…not including the one right before the episode starts 🤨

I don’t think the host appreciates the role of the men and women in law enforcement. She almost expects to find some sort of mishandling by the police in every case. When the police are working up to the host’s standards, she will bring up a case from the past that was mishandled. Absolutely it happens but not at every department. My ex husband was a police officer for 35 years. His first mission and priority was ALWAYS the victim and would work DAYS without sleep to get justice for a victim. The host should just tell the story. I don’t want to hear her opinion on how the police do not care about people of color because that is a LIE and totally irresponsible to claim. Where is her proof that happens at very police department. Every time she talks about crime happening to a “white person”, she gets in her opinion concerning the quick police again due to being white. I’m ALL ABOUT EXPOSING ALL bad people but to be so negative! this is just my opinion so it doesn’t matter. Bottom line: if you have a family member or friend in law enforcement, the host may frustrate you or make you a little angry: listen at your own risk.
